Guesthouse 1109 - Maputo

Guesthouse 1109 is a lovely boutique hotel with clean rooms and a good rooftop terrace that offers great views. The buffet breakfast features a good variety, and the small pool is just the right spot for relaxation. Especially Nuno and Katia, are great.

the bed was comfortable, and the room itself was spacious. location: the hotel was just off all attractions in the city, bars and restaurants, and sightseeing and eating out.

The pool view from the apartment offers a tiny piece of paradise which is perfect for relaxation. The layout of the apartment, with multiple rooms and an office space, is practical and well thought out.

Windows aren't secure. They don't lock, which might raise eyebrows despite the security measures in place. Ants invade if food is left out, the AC shuts down during power outages leading to uncomfortable warmth at night, and the lack of shower toiletries means you have to bring your own. The beds are hard, subjective, and if guests stay up late chatting on the patio, their voices carry into some rooms.

This place was a well-suited match for a short layover in Maputo with good value for cost. The staff showed genuine care and even went out of their way to help me when I had an issue with my room.

Wonderful small hotel located just off all major sites of Maputo, the centre of Maputo and beautiful chill area on the deck. Comfortable and perfect location in Mozambiques capital, very clean pool;)))

The room was neat and nicely furnished, the hotel was spotlessly clean. The room in GOOD condition. The venue had a central location and it was close to Maputo Cathedral.

Facilities were great, nevertheless Wi-Fi was low.

I experienced some discomfort with the lack of shower toiletries, made my routine a bit inconvenient. The cold water issue was quite bothersome initially, although it was resolved after the first day. I also found the noise levels to be higher than expected, particularly late at night with conversations carrying into the room.

Everything! Central location, peaceful neighborhood, efficient check-in process!

Staying here was a marvelous experience due to its central position, as we could easily walk to Independence Square and the Fortress of Maputo. The clean pool area and cute staff, the breakfast was a highlight.

The double room offered a fine pool view and was impeccably tidy. The staff were really nice too ensure a pleasant experience. Having access to various snacks and drinks at any time was a significant perk. The absence of included toiletries was inconvenient, and on some evenings, discussions from the patio carried into the room, disrupting sleep. While the breakfast options were decent, there was room for more variety.

the rooftop terrace could use better views, but the beautifully maintained garden and superclean rooms more than made up for it! breakfast had delicious options and the staff was super friendly and helpful. would definitely come back!

The stylish décor and lovely views from the patio. I was impressed by the clean pool area and the cozy honesty bar for late-night snacks.

A very clean double room with reliable Wi-Fi. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of tasty items, including fresh fruits. The small size of the room left little extra space, and it would have been convenient if some toiletries were provided. It was a safe and friendly environment, but some improvements could enhance the experience.
